There are so many times that girls are tagged as just too emotional and over acting. There really is no use why girls act that why. It is natural for women to be really close to other girls. It is not even a surprise, and it surely is not, that the brides would be cooking bridal shower favors for their friends who actually are the bridesmaids of their wedding.

Why are girls so close? You might wonder. Well they say that girls are naturally emotional people. It is not that they are always teary and confronting but they just find it easier to express their emotions than men.

Often times, they are dependent on their friends for pieces of advice and sympathy. It is just natural for girls to call on their friends as their confidants because they understand each other really deeply. This is the reason why people should not be surprised anymore to see that the entourage is composed mostly of the bride’s girl friends.

So you might wonder why there is still quite a need to have bridal shower favors when apparently the bridesmaids know pretty well how the bride feels about them. Actually, just like any other party favors, the bridal shower favors serve as a thank you item, they are given of course as souvenirs for the guests. Some say it is customary of course. Yeah, that is true.

However, a lot of people, the girls actually, would say that this is more than just that. The bridal shower favors mean that certain commitment of the friendship, you know they serve as the thread that will remind the girls of the fun moments that they had as single ladies. When they all get married, they can look at the bridal shower favors and they will reminisce the past, emotional or mushy as it seems but that is real.

The wedding planning professionals may be so thorough with details that you might not have to worry about a pin or a pencil but they would demand proportionate compensation also for their services. That may not be easy for everyone. An alternative is to go in for the less experienced planners, who can also ease your burden quite a lot. Or you can just rely on books and the many sites for the purpose, which are sprouting up daily over the internet.

Flora and Fauna: How to Incorporate them Into Your Wedding

When people hear of a garden wedding, the first image that appears in their heads is a backyard or a park, with a plethora of plants as decorations. Of course, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with having an outdoor wedding, or even using plants as decorations. The idea, however, is to make the wedding look like a natural paradise and not the garden section of the local big box store. Here’s how to use plants at your wedding without overdoing it.

The first consideration should be your guests. Anyone with allergies will be extremely uncomfortable if you have a lot of flowers or other pollen producing plants in their vicinity. How can you combat this? Ideally, you can make sure that the person in question is as far away from the offending plants as they can get. Or simply plan to use other versions of that plant. For instance, if you wanted roses as decorations, you could use the petals instead. For beautiful (but strong smelling) gardenias or jasmine, use climbing vines or bushes that don’t blossom, such as ivy or pine. Remember that your guests are there to celebrate your day with you, and if they are uncomfortable, your wedding will not be the success that you meant it to be.

No allergy problems that you can think of, as far as your guests and wedding party are concerned? Great! Move on to the type of plant you want for your decoration. Roses, again, are a traditional plant, and there are many ways to use them. Miniature versions make very pretty favors for a table, either by putting a pot on each one or by strewing tiny blossoms. Want to be really unique? Get a shot glass for each seat, fill it with water, and place the tiny blooms in there. Now you have a unique and pretty garden favor that won’t be forgotten anytime soon!

Perhaps you want garden favors and a garden based location. This is easily done; all you have to do is scout out your local park. You can call the parks and recreation services department in your area to reserve it; be careful, however, because city events take first priority. Besides, you would hate to plan your wedding on the same day as the founding fathers’ birthday, if for no other reason than it would make things a lot more complicated for your guests!

If you’re lucky, you may live near a Victorian house that doubles as a historical site and has a garden that you can rent for your wedding. Many times, these sites have very beautiful, well maintained areas. They may also be expensive, but guaranteed, they are worth every penny.

Last but not least, what happens if you’re stuck indoors and you still want a garden theme? You can simply decorate the room with a few well chosen plants. Again, to avoid allergy issues, you could do a lovely Asian theme with bamboo shoots in water, or bonsai trees. Cherry blossom sprigs are beautiful in tall glass vases as well. These centerpieces can easily be turned into favors for the table. Just be sure there’s no fighting over them as the guests leave your wedding!

Garden themed weddings can be impressive and fun without subjecting anyone to the miseries of allergies or breaking your budget. A little clever legwork and some consideration of thought can result in beautiful decorations that will enhance your wedding tenfold and make your reception the talk of the town.

Out of many great things about latest wedding favors it would be difficult to single out one that stands above the rest. But sure enough near the top of the list is how they can also serve as bridal shower favours. Decorative, practical, fun, lovely, and highly treasured as tokens, they represent one of the best wedding investments you can make.

Think of a pizza cutter decorated with a special phrase chosen by the bride and groom. Made of impressive porcelain, they’re highly decorative. But with stainless steel blades they will also be used long after the bridal shower is finished. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Consider the humble sewing kit. Utilitarian, yet lovely. Practical, while standing for home. Offering a colorful plaid design they evoke memories of Fall while they offer a useful set of tools. That’s a bridal shower gift that is a winner all around.

How about some personalized personal care items? Monogrammed with the names of the bride and guest, they will long be thought of as a treasured keepsake of the happy event. At the same time, the nail clippers, file, and more will see regular use long after the special occasion has come and gone.

Bath soap is an ever popular bridal shower favor, for reasons not hard to understand. Extending delicate scents and lovely colors, they fit neatly in a clear heart-shaped bridal shower favor box. That grants them to be exhibited to provide not only a gift but a fine ornament at the party.

Make some other fine scents on the bridal shower day by putting out some coffee-scented candles. Set in delicate miniature glass cups, they provide a lovely aroma and a beautiful item for the tables.

Ceramic honey pot bridal shower favors always bring out the ‘oohs’ and ‘aahhs’. Decorated with images of Spring, they’re the perfect choice for that April bridal shower that precedes the June wedding. You’ll find later that they grace many a guest’s bathroom counter top purely as a lovely decoration.

A retro silver teapot timer offers a useful gift that also hints of old-time elegance. Everyone expects the love brewing during this season will far outlast the bridal shower, the wedding, and beyond. This little souvenir will remind everyone of those joyous occasions.

There are lots of fabulous place card holders to choose from for the bridal shower, as well. The tiny grand piano ones are fun, practical, and match absolutely with miniature silk rose decorations. Your guest will ask “Ain’t love grand?” on seeing these.

Any season is the ideal time to utilize laser-cut butterfly placecard holders. With small fluttering creatures in paper lace at the top and the guests name across the center, everyone will know where they stand.

Select the supreme in elegance with separately monogrammed note cards. Ideal for writing those thank you notes, they can also double as place card holders.
